Planning an office Christmas party? Make it spectacular with some hired entertainment from the folks at presto. We cater to events of all sizes, and our DJ's have been used by Hewlett Packard, Shoppers Drug Mart, Vancouver Cruises and many more. We can provide musical entertainment, Karaoke, light shows, and just about anything else you need to make your company party Memorable. Just tell us a little about your company and the kind of music you want, and we'll take it from there. We will also provide a wireless microphone so your host can make announcements and give out door prizes.
Karaoke
Our state-of-the art Karaoke system has over 4000 songs and is fully portable. We use the latest flat screen technology and top-of-the line sound to create a Karaoke experience unrivaled in the lower mainland. We are available for one-off events such as birthday parties or for regular nights. Karaoke nights help bring more business into your Pub/Club, we can also provide marketing materials such as posters, flyers, and even a web page to help you get the word out at very competitive prices.
Restaurants/Pubs/Clubs
All of our Deejays got their start playing in nightclubs and bars all over BC so they are right at home in this environment. Whether you want someone to provide dinner music for seated guests, or you need an experienced crowd-moving DJ for a busy nightclub, Presto can make it happen. Presto currently has DJ's in many of Vancouver's best known Bars and they keep hiring us again and again, which I believe speaks for itself. We are established professionals in the industry.
Many restaurants hire a DJ in the summer months during their peak season. This is a great way to give your guests some added value and create a party atmosphere in your establishment. It also goes a long way to keeping your guests longer, hence encouraging them to spend more on drinks and food. Also, on special evenings such as New Years Eve, St. Patrick's Day, or around Halloween, it's good to do a little something extra, and our DJ's are experts with all kinds of theme nights. We can cater to just about any type of establishment.
We can also bring sound systems of any size and can tie into the house system if possible. We are formally trained in sound engineering, so getting the best sound in any room is part of the package we provide. We also offer consulting services for Establishments who wish to acquire sound systems or repair or upgrade existing systems.
Our "No-Nonsense" policy means you tell the DJ what YOU want, and that's what he will provide. No egos, no attitude. We have taken on everything from one-off events, to yearly commitments. We can also provide you with marketing materials for your special event, to help you get the word out; such as posters, flyers, business cards and even web-pages designed by our in-house webmaster.
Parties
Want to make your birthday party really special? Hire a DJ from Presto and be the envy of all your friends. Show them you know how to throw a REAL party. We have done events for all age ranges and there isn't a genre of music that we don't cover.
We have done everything from birthdays for teens 14 to 18 years old to 50th anniversary parties. We will consult with you beforehand to get a feel for what you are looking for and some examples of music you want and we'll take it from there. Remember, there is no event too big and no event too small for the experts at Presto.
At Presto, we know you have put in countless hours and untold sums of money to make your big day absolutely perfect. Whether you plan on having a small get-together with a few friends and family or an all-out extravaganza, we have you covered. We have done events at many of Vancouver's premier venues, and we will consult with you to find out what your needs will be. If this requires us to visit the venue before hand, we will do it at no extra charge to you. All our deejays have wedding experience, and although we book up fast in the summer, we will do our best to make it happen for you, even if it means recommending another great service which we do business with.
Weddings
Our "no-nonsense" policy means we will run the event exactly as you want it. You tell us what kind of music you want, and we will play that. Give us a list of music you don't want, and we won't play it. It's that simple. We are experts at reading the crowd and responding to everyone's requests. Our library of over 200,000 songs means that we have just about every request your guests could possibly throw at us.
If you want a cheesy radio DJ who calls out the name of every song and teaches 2-stepping lessons while he plays, look elsewhere. We are going to play music, and use the microphone minimally, just to get the crowd going or make announcements. We will let your Emcee do the rest. We can also provide him/her with a wireless microphone and stand, which anyone can use. If you have any specialty music you require (Greek, Spanish, Indian, etc) Just give us some advance notice and a few examples of artists you like and we will be sure to have it for you by the date of your event.
